No Brakes Racing 2008 is comprised of Expert, Sport and Junior racers who participate in a variety of disciplines including Downhill, Mountain Cross, XC, Road, BMX, Dual Slalom, Super-D and Cyclocross. Ranging in ages from 13 - 50+, with a variety of backgrounds and experiences, you'll see No Braker's racing and participating in bike events all across North America, including the Sea Otter Classic, SRC Series, Mountain States Cup and National Racing events. And we are proud to give back to our trails through work events and bike advocacy. Each No Braker brings unique skills and qualities to the team, which has made us what we are today. But we couldn't do this without our sponsors.  NMBS Race, Deer Valley, UT, June 26 - 28: No Brakes Racing was represented by Les Price and Michael Yares at this year's Deer Valley NMBS race. The venue was beautiful as it has been for the last several years. The course was modified a bit this year and Barney's Rubble was made even more gnarly than it has been (hard to imagine)! The Bedrock drop was modified a bit and actually had a line for mere mortals and that made for less injuries.
The racing was varied with Michael coming in 2nd and Les coming in 5th- way to go guys! And, rumor has it that it was a great weekend of racing, trail riding and even a moose sighting!?! (Just look at the picture very closely!)  |

 Well, summer is in full swing and No Brakers have been seen out and about! Enjoying getting out to play as well as condition for upcoming races, you can find team members hitting the DH trails in Flagstaff, Globe and So Cal. As well exploring trails in New Mexico, Utah and Colorado - hey, we gotta get out of the heat! And, not to be out done, our own Michael Yares is set to go to Switzerland later this summer to hit the trails on the other side of the sea. Way cool!
